CONTEXT

Platform On-Demand was an internal initiative that I started within Platform Venture Studio to provide more of our studio expertise on a smaller, more accessible basis. POD offers our entire suite of professional services (Design, Dev, Recruiting, Strategy). The product itself is a simple typeform linked to an Asana board that creates appointments for the individual members of our team (to be approved). This was a fun and rewarding experience that helps fill the gaps in between a rapid full-scale development cycle with a portfolio company.

CHALLENGES

This was my second individual initiative at Platform, following in the footsteps of the Unit Economics Calculator project. My goal was to create a more accessible opportunity for startups/founders to employ studio services without being involved in our official cohort. The product is simple, but combining the different frameworks was tricky.

LEARNINGS

Leveraging existing tools is always a smart choice, and this project was an opportunity to experiment with those. The initial page was built into our existing Webflow site, and connected to a series of Typeform flows. The Typeform allows you to book with one of our individual calendars, and every time a meeting is booked we have an event created in Asana. Simple and sweet.
